The Office for Strategic Planning was created on 23^rd February 2022. Imbued with an innovative and dynamic vision, its mission is to provide support, technical assistance and advice to the university's governing bodies—in particular, the Executive Council, through the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Strategic Planning—with regard to decision-making and strategic planning processes.

Functions:

1. Coordinate production, promotion and monitoring of the UIB Strategic Plan.
2. Manage oversight of the institutional project portfolio.
3. Manage the institution's positioning.
4. Coordinate official and in-house data and statistics.
5. Provide the necessary data for the Transparency Portal, in coordination with the Transparency Committee.
6. Provide support for decision-making processes based on data.
